Destination Date.

Benji went to Dallas to see Steffen this week.
I knew he was going to a have hard time leaving him
when the time came.

So, I wanted to come up with something for us to do
after he got back.

I made a list of possible places to eat and for dessert and something for us to do.
Then I came up with a symbol that represented each place.
I tried really hard to come up with symbols that would not give
it away easily.

Then Benji got to pick where we ate, what we did, and what would be for dessert.

The dessert options.

Dinner options.

Our activity options.

What he ended up choosing.
Which consists of frozen yogurt, a new restaurant we haven't tried yet,
and golfing.

So there was this...

app.
This app called Intstagram.
Where you can put filters on your pictures.
Then upload them to Facebook, Twitter or email them.

and a suit.
Steffen got Benji into slim suits.
He now has 3 suits of these custom made suits
from this guy out of China.
One seen here.
He recently got one.
Of course on Sunday, he had to model it off.
Resulting in below.

July Favorites.

This month has flown!
I can't believe it is already August!

Month Picture and Event Recap.

As seen here
we became official Idahoans.
And...
we are OBSESSED with our new phones.

I think we use them more than we use our computers.

As seen here
we loved our weekend that consisted of
our Jackson adventure and
my company picnic we attended.

Benji finished another semester of school!
Just 4 to go!
I am pretty excited for him!
With that, Steffen graduated!
Woohoo!
And moved to Dallas!
We are so excited to hear about his adventures there!

We celebrated a year since
Benji proposed!
Time always seems to fly!

P.S. Isn't he the cutest?
I love skyping with my family.

Weekendish Things.

Yes, I know the weekend was over almost 2 days ago,
BUT Benji and I had a somewhat busy weekend.
For us at least.

My two sisters were at my Mom's house this weekend
for a late Mother's Day celebration.
So, of course we skyped.

Got to see this little guy take some of his first steps.
It was so fun to be there or see it, at least virtually.

On Mother's Day, our ward gave all of the women plants.
This Sunday, Benji didn't feel ours was going to make it
staying in the plastic container it came in,
so he put it in one of our coffee mugs.

We are trying to be optimistic and hope it will at least bloom
before we kill it with our lack of green thumbs.

Sunday afternoon, of course Steffen and Chad came over.
It is becoming a Sunday tradition for them.
Benji decided it was going to be all day snack day.
So, we did.
It was kinda nice not making a fancy dinner.
Like I normally do.

Benji made one of his Dad's famous Grigg dip.
When I was grocery shopping on Saturday,
I was a little skeptical it was going to taste ok,
but it ended being delicious.

Of course, I forgot to take pictures while Benji was making it,
so these are the leftovers we had as part of dinner last night.

Round 3.

(Sorry about the color being off for the first few seconds.)
My husband keeps me laughing.
And I really had to bride him to do this with me.
My southern accent is very apparent.
Husband 1 and Husband 2.

Day on the scooter in Mexico.

Benji got so into it the first time he wanted to make another vlog
immediately after it.

The. Weekend.

This past weekend I was able to go to Rexburg
to celebrate mine and Benji's one year anniversary!
Big deal. I know. It was pretty exciting.

All weekend long we did random fun stuff.
Thursday, Benji made me the most delicious salmon and
fried zucchini for dinner.
I now love both of them!

Then we got hot chocolate and went to the gardens
where some of our first date took place and FROZE
while we were there talking.

Friday we spent the day with Benji's best friend, Steffen.
I am pretty much marrying both Benji and Steffen.
They are seriously two peas in a pod and attached at the hips.
And I love it!
I always have so much fun whenever the three of us hang out.

We made caramel apples together.
Benji and I are now pros at making them.
They turned out so good.

The rest of the weekend we just hung out doing random stuff.
I loved it!

Now I can't wait for Saturday to come for Benji to spend
the whole week to Texas for Thanksgiving!
