10 Grigg Moments in 2014

February, I went back to work at Cabela's with Benji. In doing so, Tristin became the latest fit model for their toddler clothes. 

May, Tristin started walking. We have yet to be able to keep up with him since. 

May 31st, we celebrated Tristin's first birthday. 

4th of July, we spent with week in Utah and Idaho visiting family and friends. It felt like we had never truly left. 

September, we decided we were ready for a new adventure and made the move to Texas. We are so excited to be here. 

October, Benji and Tristin took their first father/son trip and attended Benji's brother's wedding in Denver.

Halloween.

December, Tristin got his first haircut. He no longer looks like a baby. 

Santa was not a hit this year. 

But Christmas morning was. 

We are so grateful for the adventures and lessons learned this past year and are so excited to see what 2015 has in store for us!

12 Months.

-you love walking, more like running everywhere. 

-everything has become a game, especially when we are in stores

-says mama, dada, uh oh, yeah

-loves bath time and playing in the water

-has become mr. personality. So many people have told us the past couple weeks how much personality you have. It is so much fun to watch. 

We still cannot get over the fact, we have a toddler now. The past year has flown by. Watching you learn and grow has been the highlight of every day. We love you.

This past year has been a big year for our little family. We couldn't be more excited to see what 2014 has in store for us.

Cheers to a new year and the many things to come!

Fourth of July

Picnics were had. Naps were enjoyed. Fireworks were watched.

Here are a few of things we are determined to do this season:

1. Perfect the kitchen. By eating this, this, this, this, this, this, this...
2. Pictures by the most talented Cassie.
3. Spend a day in Mesa Falls and Jackson - it has the most beautiful fall leaves
4. Have a picnic.
5. Redecorate the kitchen. I am thinking shelves.
6. Organize the house. 
7. Have the stack books on the nightstand dwindle.
8. Indulging in apple cider. Regularly.
9. Go to a corn maze.
10. Carve a pumpkin.

6 things we learned in Vegas Part 2...

1. Las Vegas Gelato is the best.

2. Benji is currently pricing boats. It is now on the list to get someday.

3. It's not smart to climb a rocky beach in bare feet.

4. We like to get all fancy dressed in front of fancy pelicans.

5. It is all so much better in good company.

6. Husband loves some crazy tubing rides.

and that's all my iphone has to say about that...

1. Perfect way to end a busy week? Enjoying gourmet popcorn from the dollar theater in Rexburg.

2. "Happy Hunger Games and may the odds ever be in your favor."

3. Chick Fil-A picnic in the park.

5. Oh no big deal, just watching a movie in the park at 4 in the afternoon.

5. Our Walgreens discovery. 

in the last 24 hours...

we have had popcorn, sour gummy worms, ice cream and a granola bar for dinner.

got in touch with our emotional side in a movie theater.

was locked out of our house in the snowing 30 degree weather.

was told by a 6 year old we cuddled too much in the movie.

purchased a 23 dollar bag of apples by accident. Better be dang good.

started the newest season of our White Collar obsession.

benji has been victorious in 3 games of marbles.

froze ourselves out of our house as ALL the doors were opened to get the wood lacquer

scent out as Benji made a marble board.
