July Favorites.

This month has flown!
I can't believe it is already August!

Month Picture and Event Recap.

As seen here
we became official Idahoans.
And...
we are OBSESSED with our new phones.

I think we use them more than we use our computers.

As seen here
we loved our weekend that consisted of
our Jackson adventure and
my company picnic we attended.

Benji finished another semester of school!
Just 4 to go!
I am pretty excited for him!
With that, Steffen graduated!
Woohoo!
And moved to Dallas!
We are so excited to hear about his adventures there!

We celebrated a year since
Benji proposed!
Time always seems to fly!

P.S. Isn't he the cutest?
I love skyping with my family.

Benjisms.

If you did not already know my husband is hilarious.
Down right
HILARIOUS.
I think he is even funnier when it is just us around.

Comments from him the past few days include,
but are most definitely not limited too...

"In England we call this camel riding."
I don't remember what we were talking about when he said this.
But he is most definitely not from England,
so how he would know what is called camel riding over there
I have no idea.

"You are already forcing me to eat the green beans and
now you are saying I have to look at them."
Yet again, I don't remember the context of this statement,
but I am pretty sure we were not at the dinner table.

"Do they have Applebee's here?"
He randomly asked this as we were pulling into Jackson this weekend.
I can't remember the last time we went to Applebee's.
And I didn't even think he liked Applebee's.

"Do you know what d stands for? Death!"
We live in house D on our street.
The other day we had an earwig infestation,
and I quickly came to learn that Benji is
deathly afraid of them.
He said this statement after we got back from the store
and had gotten some bug spray to treat them.

My favorite one from the past few days.
Me: "Hey honey never change."
Benji: "My clothes might get stinky though."
All I could do was roll my eyes and smile at him.

Deliciously Goodness.

Brace yourselves. I am about to post a recipe.
Heather would be so proud.
I know it is just a dessert, what better place to start making baby steps
but the best part of a meal.

I made the cinnamon sugar tortilla chips from this recipe.

Then used Baker's microwaveable fondue chocolate we have on hand,
and cut up the strawberries in manageable pieces.

End result: Yummy goodness.

Too funny not to share...

If you know my husband well,
or even if you don't,
he is always making people laugh
and is so quick on his feet with those
hilarious comments, faces or whatever.

I am continually dying of laughter.

At the company picnic we went to this past weekend
we won this old school track suit.
When we got home Benji put it on and making funny
comments about how often he was going to use it
and how he was so excited he wanted to work out right then.

Resulting in this video...

I was dying laughing.
I wish I had thought to record it before I did.

Weekend Recap.

For the first weekend in months, or ever,
Benji didn't have to work.
Not at all on Friday.
Not at all on Saturday.
Not at all on Sunday.
I was like a little kid in a candy store having him with me all weekend.

Friday, of course, we saw the new Harry Potter movie.
No questions there.

Saturday, we attended my office's company picnic.
We had such a blast.

Benji even rode the mechanical bull.

Sunday, we drove to Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Benji had never been there and it had been years since I had been there.

Speaking of candy stores. We found the cutest one in Jackson...

F is for Family Night.

Before we got married Benji and I
decided we wanted to try harder and be better at Family Home Evening.

After got married, we came to realize this was a lot harder
than we thought it would be,
with our little family of two.

Some weeks were better than others.
Some weeks I would remind us that we were going to
do something simple, or really anything.
Some weeks, most weeks, Benji was the one
being the driving force behind it.
Busting out the Ensign, making sure we were somewhat
spiritual.

Then a couple weeks ago, during Stake Conference
our Stake President encouraged all of the families
to create a family mission plan,
of how we, as a family, were going to be
better missionaries.

So, the other night Benji and I
made our little family mission plan.
Where we set little goals for us to not only be better missionaries,
but to improve on those little things that will draw us closer
together, as a family.

We are moving forward into being better.
We are excited.
Our Grigg family mission plan will soon be on the fridge,
by our dinner calendar.
Ensuring it will be seen daily, help us keep on it.

...

As seen here and here
we have become technology savvy
in our house.

We made the splurge got
IPHONES!

We love them, but we are still learning about them.
I transferred all of my pictures from my old phone to the new one,
then learned yesterday I can then put them on
my computer.
I was super excited, and thought I would share.
Benji got a little jealous when he saw I had more pictures of one of my nephews
than him.

My favorite wedding picture.
Steffen took it on Benji's phone then he sent it to my phone.
I am so glad it is on my computer now.

We are both very excited!

Crafting.

It was arts & crafts in the Grigg house
this weekend.
As Benji kept calling it.

It began with bedazzling this.
Then I got a little carried away and decided to bedazzle these
letters Larina gave me for my birthday.
I am still not sure where we are going to put them.
Then it turned into making this wreath.

These are next on the list to make...

(idea found here.)

(via.)

I also want to make this.
Or something similar.
But saying...
And they lived happily ever after.

my abc's

Age: 22
Bed size: double
Chore you hate: the kitchen

Essential start to your day: a kiss from Benji.
Favorite color: it changes all the time. right now its yellow and bright turquoise.
Gold or silver: white gold, so silver.
Height: 5' 2'', yes I am short.
Instruments: none. I have no musical talent whatsoever.
Job title: Wife. Forecasting Analyst.
Kids: living the newlywed life, so none.
Live: Idaho Falls, Idaho
Mom's name: Lena
Nickname: becks, becca, and whatever cute terms of endearment Benji comes up with.
Overnight hospital stays: never.
Pet peeve: when random cups/dishes/food/whatever are left out even though they are done being used. The clean freak coming out in me.
Quote from a movie: "Attitude reflects leadership." I had to look up that. I am so lame. For some reason, I cannot rattle off quotes from movies/tv shows like some people can.
Right or left handed: left
Siblings: third of four. two sisters and one brother.
Time you wake up: Like what time do I open my eyes or what time do I actually get out of bed, is a better question. I normally get out of bed about 7, but I open my eyes and kinda wake up when Benji's alarm goes off at 6:30.

Memory Lane.

Ever since we have moved back here to Idaho Falls,
I have been making a trip to Rexburg
at least once a week
for some reason or another.

Most times I have gone I have been able to hang out
with friends I have known for a while.
It seems like we are always reminiscing about old times.
Memory lane through pictures.
